1) Who can submit applications for REP projects?
Faculty in the Department of Psychology and Department of Psychology graduate students have automatic access to the REP system. However, all research conducted through the REP system must be formally sponsored by a member of the Department of Psychology faculty. Requiring a departmental faculty sponsor helps to facilitate awareness of, and adherence to, current REP policies and practices.
Other University of Minnesota researchers, who are sponsored by a member of the Department of Psychology faculty, including adjunct faculty or nondepartmental researchers conducting "cash only" studies, need to contact the REP coordinator at [email protected] to request access to the REP system.
2) Timing of applications and allocations
It depends on the semester. Currently, you can submit an application at any point during the academic semester, and an allocation will be made within about 48 business hours.
